I played with the 40k precons and found the games were just too long. Cards were very new and had many many words on them. Nobody knew what other cards did so attacking and blocking was a little more difficult. Lots of board wipes as 3 of the 40k decks have black. We're going to do a thorough analysis of each deck, highlighting its goals and how well it accomplishes them, check out its deckbuilding fundamentals, identify its strongest and weakest cards, then use all that information to create a high-impact list of upgrades for under $30.

In 1on1 they're oppressive. Lucea Kane gets out fast, comes with a free sol ring, hands out +1/+1 a turn and then just starts doubling creatures which is typically too much pressure for the other 3 precons in a 1on1 unless you draw into all of your removals early.
